Traveling
in France or from France throughout Europe
The
train
The train is the fastest, most convenient way to travel. You can
order yout ticket on the SNCF
website. The task is simple, but unfortunately, the site is availabe
only in french. If you are under 26 years of age, you will find
tickets at very good rates. The earlier you book in advance, the
better the price will be.
If
you are in France and want to travel around Europe by train, you
can get a Europass.
Choose the country of your destination and go to the corresponding
site. However, be cautious about buying a ticket during the holiday
periods (July, August, September), especially in France trains will
be overcrowded and there may be problems in finding a seat for at
the last second.. So be careful.
The
bus
the
companyEurolines
offers to travel you by bus across Europe to a low cost. But attention,
comfort is really very bad and trip very long. But it is really
cheap. ..
Renting
a car
This is a very good idea to go visit a region where there is no
train or bus. In France you can use the large companies like
Avis, Europcar,
Budget,
Rentacar,
NationalCiter
and Ada
You
may find a car service in a station or an airport. The drawback
is the cost of petrol which is 1.50 per litre. But nevertheless
it is often cheaper than the train.
It is often very expensive, except for destinations to large cities.
For example, to go to London from Paris it would be preferable to
take the Eurostar, because it is faster. But as for the train, the
more you order your trip in advance the better the price will be.
You can also find low-cost airlines like Ryanair
and Easyjet
fora very good price that includes the whole of Europe.
From Paris, take the train to Saint Malo which cost approximately
90 € A / R. On the spot you can find a hotel starting from
around 50 € per night. At the station you can take the bus
to go to Mont Saint Michel.
The
castles of the Loire valley
From
Paris, you can take the train to Blois or Tours (45 € A / R)
http://www.loiredeschateaux.com/. At the station, you will find
a bus to go to different castles, or you can find
tourist guides who can arrange visits. The cost
to discover these castles from € 87.50 per person
Take
the train from Paris wich costs around 160 € A / R
On thissite
you, will find all the information on lodging and criding by cable
car on Mont Blanc.
The webcams of Mont
Blanc can be found on this website http://www.chamonix.net/francais/webcam/chamcam.htm
Renting a boat on the Canal du Midi (Toulouse)
It
is a canal that connects the region of Toulouse to the Mediterranean.
For over 35 years companies hired boats and you could rent barges
for the week. One did not need permit for the boat. Today, you can
still go down or up the channel and discover at every step, the
sights and smells of the region. This is a very good idea if you
are this at least 4 persons in spring, summer or September.
If
you wish, you can go visit the vineyards. There are many in France,
as you know, so I will select two particularly well known vineyards
: Bordeaux and Champagne
Bordeaux
To
get take the TGV from Paris to Bordeaux (about 3h30). Rent a car,
take a map and have an itinerary. Visit the "Médoc,"
This region over Bordeaux is famous for its wines such as "Margaux",
"Pauillac" and "Saint Estèphe" and is
found along the river from "Gironde" to "Soulac"
and Wednesday
On this
site (which was only in french) you can find
properties that welcome you to let you discover their wines.
Take the train from Paris to Reims wich takes about 1 hour. If you
wish, you can visit the city where you will find the Cathedral of
the Kings of France. It may be better to rent a car and find a route
to visit the cellars of different champagne vineyards.
Here on this site are a list of wines
distributors “caves (in french)”
that you can research.
