Summer time french language institute

The French Language Institute at Georgetown Summer time School combines the advantages of formal classroom learning and real-world applications to accelerate students’ knowledge of the word what, both written and orally. Organized through the Department of French and Francophone Studies, french Institute engages students in a number of in-depth discussions of French and Francophone cultures that highlight the variety of peoples who speak French.

Courses are small in order to make sure that students take advantage of individual attention both inside and outdoors from the classroom. Students from the institute will gain knowledge from the best, dedicated, and various faculty, who incorporate an array of current teaching methodologies and technology-based instruction.

Classes are supplemented with assorted activities outdoors from the classroom that expose students towards the cultures and histories of numerous French and Francophone groups. These activities can include-:

Gathering for weekly crêpes/coffee for any fun and traditional French snack while practicing one’s vocabulary skills with a mixture of faculty along with other students.
Taking part in entertainment-based activities for example seeing French films, eating at local French restaurants, and playing traditional French games (for example boules).
Visiting local museums and embassies with francophone exhibits.
Gaining knowledge from real-some time and on-demand current media sources along with the latest classroom learning technology in the CNDLS Language Lab.
