National French Test VHSIn March, many Verona Students expressed a pursuit to challenge themselves and take part in 2010 National French Contest. The Nation’s French Contest/Le Grand Concours is definitely an annual competition backed through the American Association of Teachers of French (AATF). Students in most 50 states and abroad compete against their peers concentrating on the same educational background if you take a multiple-choice test that covers listening comprehension, vocabulary and grammar in context, in addition to studying. From the 22 Verona students who registered to compete, 17 were awarded prizes, in addition to AATF national and chapter recognition. Emily Podolak and Eugenie Mordkovich, in france they teachers at H.B. Whitehorne Junior High School and Verona Senior High School, are very happy with the students’ success and need them well within their future endeavors.
