French corners at book shops

The specificity of those "French corners" sections is they are the effect of a curated selection. The hands-selected titles from the inaugural selection encompass a multitude of fiction titles, varying from classic authors like Honoré de Balzac and Simone de Beauvoir to modern authors for example novelist Michel Houellebecq and playwright Yasmina Reza.

And for the West Coast bookworms, some good news! A couple of your preferred local independent stores, Tattered Cover Book Shop located in Denver, Colorado and Book Soup in La, California, have recently opened up their French Corners!

Each one of the participating store has produced a unique "French Corners" section on their own shelves, featuring 1 of 2 options: an accumulation of 75 books in French, or an accumulation of 60 books in British translation plus 15 books in French.
